State Police Calls: Theft, Drug Possession, DUI Crash

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Clearfield-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft From Building in Bigler Township

Police say 23-year-old Mathew Smith of Lorain, Ohio, was arrested for theft of a generator from the Dollar General Construction Site at 2727 Main Street in Bigler Township that occurred around 10:47 a.m. on December 16, 2020.

According to police, Smith was later encountered in Ohio, where the generator, valued at $3,000, was recovered.

Charges are pending.

Drug Possession in Cooper Township

On Jan. 5, 2020, at 2:04 p.m., police were dispatched to Rolling Stone Road in Cooper Township, Clearfield County, for a report of drug possession.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing.

DUI Crash in Goshen Township

Police responded to a crash involving a 2006 Pontiac Vibe around 11:02 p.m. on December 30, 2019, at 19066 Shawville Croft Highway in Goshen Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, 26-year-old Jeremy Lawson, of Brookville, was arrested for DUI.

Charges are pending.
