State Police Calls: DUI, Theft

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Reynoldsville Borough

Police say a traffic stop was conducted on a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche near the intersection of Worth Street and South 10th Street in Reynoldsville Borough around 4:40 p.m. on February 17.

According to police, after further investigation, it was determined the driver, 53-year-old Sonny Postlewait, of Reynoldsville, was under the influence of alcohol.

Postlewait was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Theft in Snyder Township

DuBois-based State Police investigated a theft that occurred at Brockway Sportsman’s Club on Baghdad Road in Snyder Township between September 30, 2019, and February 23, 2020.

Police say four speakers and an audio cable were taken from the facility’s garage.

The investigation is ongoing.
