State Police Calls: 7-Year-Old Found with Bruises on Arms Prompts Investigation

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in McCalmont Township

Around 2:37 p.m. on May 21, Punxsutawney-based State Police received a Childline report regarding potential child abuse.

Police say it was reported that a seven-year-old male from Anita missed school and had bruises on his arms.

The investigation is ongoing.

Assault in Bell Township

Around 1:40 p.m. on June 8, Punxsutawney-based State Police received a report of an active domestic incident at a location on Fire Tower Road in Bell Township, Clearfield County.

Police say the incident involved a known 56-year-old man from Hillsdale and a known 42-year-old female victim from Punxsutawney.

Related charges are pending through District Court 46-3-04.
