State Police Calls: DUI’s, Burglary

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Punxsutawney Borough

Around 1:38 a.m. on June 27, Punxsutawney-based State Police conducted a traffic stop on Elk Run Avenue and Graffius Avenue in Punxsutawney Borough.

Police say the driver, a known 41-year-old Rossiter woman, displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently transported to the Punxsutawney Area Hospital for a blood draw.

The investigation is ongoing.

DUI in Pine Creek Township

Around 9:41 p.m. on June 26, Punxsutawney-based State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Yamaha dirt bike after observing traffic violations on US 322 in Pine Creek Township.

Police say during the stop, the driver, identified as a 46-year-old Brookville man, displayed indicators of impairment and was subsequently transported to Penn Highlands Brookville for a blood draw.

The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary in Glen Campbell Borough

Punxsutawney-based State Police say a known 69-year-old Glen Campbell woman reported two weed eaters, a gas powered black Max weed eater, valued at $130.00, and a weed eater of an unknown make and model, valued at $100.00, were stolen from her garage on Glenwood Avenue in Glen Campbell Borough, Indiana County, between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on June 23.

The investigation is ongoing.
