Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Area Man Reports Theft of Chainsaws

According to a report released on Wednesday, April 10, Clearfield-based State Police are investigating an incident of theft that occurred on Morrisdale Allport Highway, in Morris Township, Clearfield County.

Police say unknown actor(s) stole two chainsaws—described as a Stihl 361 and a Husqvarna 455—from the above location.

The chainsaws are valued at $400.00 apiece.

The victim is a 65-year-old Morrisdale man.

Harassment in Forest County

Marienville-based State Police were dispatched to an incident of harassment on Snyder Memorial Road in Jenks Township, Forest County, around 9:16 a.m. on Monday, April 8.

Police say the arrestee is a 66-year-old Erie man.

The victim is an 80-year-old DuBois man.

This investigation is ongoing.
