State Police Calls: Children Accused of Shoplifting in Reynoldsville, Theft in Stump Creek

The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following incidents:

Theft in Stump Creek

Punxsutawney-based State Police said three rubber belts were cut and stolen from a machine at Kosko Wood Products in Stump Creek.

The incident happened some time between Nov. 29 at 4:30 p.m. and Nov. 30 at 7:30 a.m.

The value of the belts is listed at $30.

Shoplifting at Local Grocery Store

DuBois-based State Police said two known female juveniles, ages 9 and 11, were taken into custody for shoplifting at Mike’s Bi-Lo in Reynoldsville on Dec. 9 around 5:17 p.m.

They are accused of stealing the following items:

– Crayons (value, $3.00)
– Maruchan Noodles (value, $1.00)
– Hershey’s Chocolate (value, $3.00)
– Apple and Strawberry Spread (value, $2.00)
– Funfetti Mix (value, $3.00)

Both girls were subsequently released to their mother.
