State Police Calls: Domestic Altercation, DUI Arrests

JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Disorderly Conduct in Reynoldsville Borough

Around 11:15 a.m. on December 12, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a residence on Power Street near Ohio Street in Reynoldsville Borough, Jefferson County, for a report of a domestic altercation in progress.

Police say they arrived at the scene and resolved the situation, and the two participants, identified as 40-year-old Angie Wissinger and 39-year-old Shane Wissinger, both of Reynoldsville, were cited with disorderly conduct through District Court 54-3-02.

DUI in Brookville Borough

Around 5:50 p.m. on December 10, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2012 Toyocar van on Main Street near Franklin Avenue in Brookville Borough for a moving violation.

Police say the driver, identified as a 25-year-old Punxsutawney woman, appeared to be under the influence and was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

The driver’s name was not released.

Drug Possession in Bell Township

Around 11:53 p.m. on December 5, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2015 Dodge Dart on Rikers Road near State Route 119 in Bell Township for a summary traffic violation.

Police say upon further investigation, the driver, identified as an 18-year-old Punxsutawney man, was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a controlled substance.

Charges are pending the results of blood tests.

The driver’s name was not released.
