State Police Calls: Identity Theft in Eldred Township

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Identity Theft in Eldred Township

Marienville-based State Police received a report of identity theft in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Police say it was determined that an unknown individual opened a credit card using the victim’s information.

The investigation is ongoing.

The victim is a 71-year-old Brookville woman.

Criminal Mischief in Summerville Borough

PSP Punxsutawney is investigating a report of criminal mischief near Harrison Street in Summerville Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say a V505-G9 Flat Screen TV and a 32″ glass door were damaged around 5:02 p.m. on Monday, November 14.

The TV is valued at $329.00, police said.

The victim is a 27-year-old Summerville man.

PFA Violation in Sykesville Borough

PSP Punxsutawney investigating a PFA violation near South Park Street in Sykesville Borough, Jefferson County, at 10:16 a.m. on November 4.

Upon further investigation, a 35-year-old Reynoldsville man was taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

The victim is a 28-year-old female, of Stump Creek.
