State Police Calls: Jefferson County Couple Arrested Following Allegheny Boulevard Traffic Stop

Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Two Arrested for Drug-Related Offenses in Brookville

On January 1, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., two individuals were arrested following a traffic stop on Allegheny Boulevard, according to a report by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Trooper Nicholson, with the Punxsutawney Patrol Unit, stopped a vehicle for a summary traffic violation. Upon investigation, the 26-year-old male driver from Brookville was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Additionally, a 30-year-old female passenger from Reynoldsville was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Both individuals are facing charges, which will be filed pending blood test results.

Juvenile Cited for Disorderly Conduct

A 17-year-old female from Morrisdale was cited for disorderly conduct on the night of December 14, 2023, according to a report by the Pennsylvania State Police.

The juvenile reportedly left her home without intentions of returning. She was later found on Reservoir Road in a 2006 Subaru Forester, along with another involved party. She was then transported back to her parents’ residence by Trooper Cummings of the Clearfield Patrol Unit.

No further information was released.
