State Police Calls: Juveniles Caught on Video Stealing Security Camera

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft in Gaskill Township

Police reports indicate that around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, two known juveniles removed a security camera from a location on Filtering Plant Road in Gaskill Township.

The security camera was connected and sent audio and video of the two individuals to the victim’s cell phone. Facebook was utilized to identify the individuals.

Assault in Gaskill Township

According to police, around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, a known male and female reported a physical domestic altercation at a location on Seitz Lane in Gaskill Township. Both individuals were taken into custody and arraigned by Judge Mizerock.

The suspect’s names were not released.

Possession of Controlled Substance in Punxsutawney Borough

Around 7:12 p.m. on Friday, March 23, a traffic stop was conducted in Punxsutawney Borough.

During the stop, police discovered that a male passenger in the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect’s name was not released.
