State Police Calls: Man Punched at Jail, Windshield Kicked In

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment at Jefferson County Jail

Police investigated an incident that occurred at the Jefferson County Jail, in Pine Creek Township, on Saturday, May 6, around 11:25 a.m.

According to police, 42-year-old Mason Guy Solida punched a known 35-year-old inmate, giving him a black eye during this incident.

Charges were filed against Solida.

Criminal Mischief in Huston Township

Police say around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, at a location on Ponderosa Drive in Huston Township, 25-year-old Samantha Louis Marshall, of Dubois, kicked the front windshield of a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which belongs to a known victim, causing damage to the vehicle.

The estimated cost of the damaged property is $250.

Charges are pending against Marshall at Magisterial District Court 46-3-01.
