State Police Calls: Criminal Trespass, Theft, Criminal Mischief

state_policeJEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Trespass in Gaskill Twp., Jefferson Co.

An incident of criminal trespass occurred on May 30, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., at a residence on Tipple Road, in Gaskill Township, Jefferson Co.

Fifty-four-year-old Candy Sue Schaffer, of Punxsutawney, allegedly entered a residence on Tipple Road without the victim’s knowledge or consent.

Schaffer was charged with criminal trespass through District Court 54-3-01.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle in McCalmont Twp., Jefferson Co.

An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on May 3 and 7:30 a.m. on May 4, at 149 Walnut Street, in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County.

An unknown actor(s) deprived the victim of items from her vehicle.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Punxsutawney-based State Police at 814-938-0510.

The investigation is ongoing.

Theft, Criminal Mischief in Banks Township

An incident of theft and criminal mischief occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.on May 14, at 2746 Hemlock Lake Road, in Banks Township, Indiana County.

A known, 23-year-old Rossiter man damaged the vehicle of a known, 47-year-old Reynoldsville man and removed tools from the vehicle.
