JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area state police responded to the following incidents: 

Troopers Investigating Suspect for Making Continuous False Allegations to CYS

Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a suspect for making continuous false allegations to Jefferson County CYS.

According to a release issued on Thursday, December 1, the incident occurred near Main Street in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County, around 12:23 a.m. on November 4.

No further details were released.

Tractor-Trailer Crash in Sandy Township

According to PSP DuBois, this accident happened around 12:37 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia driven by 21-year-old Rormmer L. Fernandez Luciano, of Philadelphia, was traveling west when Fernandez Luciano lost control of his tractor-trailer on the slippery road conditions.

The truck struck an embankment in the median with its front end and sustained disabling damage.

Fernandez Luciano was using a seat belt and was not injured.
