State Police Calls: Troopers Investigating Theft of Prescription Pills

Troopers Investigating Theft of Prescription Pills

PSP DuBois responded to Smithtown Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, to investigate a theft of prescription pills for a theft at an in-patient care facility.

Police say the complainant reported 16 30mg Methylphenid pills were stolen sometime between 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, and 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 13.

The victim is a 37-year-old Falls Creek man.

This investigation is ongoing at this time.

Local Man Victim of Harassment in Venango County

Franklin-based State Police were dispatched for a reported harassment on Carp Drive in Rockland Township, Venango County, around 2:03 p.m. on Saturday, August 19.

Police say further investigation found that the arrestee engaged in behavior to harass the Victim.

A citation for harassment was issued to the arrestee—a known 66-year-old Pittsburgh woman.

The victim is a 70-year-old Punxsutawney man.

The suspect’s name was not released.
