State Police Fire Marshal Unit Investigates Blaze in Jefferson County

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Authorities investigated an early morning fire Friday in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop C Fire Marshal Unit was contacted by Falls Creek Fire Department and requested to investigate a fire that destroyed a multi-purpose trailer at an Orion Drilling well pad.

Police said the fire broke out on January 5 around 2:19 a.m.

The fire was determined to be accidental, according to Tpr. Josiah Reiner.

No further information was released.
