State Police Investigate Series of Burglaries at Area Sawmills

investigationWEST MAHONING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based state police say three separate burglaries occurred between 4:00 p.m. on July 17 and 11:00 a.m. on July 20 in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County.

According to police, three separate sawmills reported thefts of the following items from their businesses.

Byler’s Sawmill – Victim #1

Husqvarna 575XP – $400.00

Joseph Coblentz Sawmill – Victim #2

Husqvarna Rancher 455 Chain Saw – $350.00
Stihl 650 Chain Saw – $700.00
Socket Set – $40.00
Crescent Wrenches – $40.00
Ratchet Wrenches – $40.00
Gear Wrenches – $100.00
“Gear Brand” Open Ended Wrenches – $40.00
Clear Plastic Box – $10.00

Byler Pine & Hemlock Sawmill – Victim #3

Stanley Tool Box – $50.00
Various Drill Bits – $50.00
Open Ended Wrenches – $50.00
Full Box of Extra Chainsaw Teeth – $100.00
Craftsman Ratchet Socket Set 7/8″-1″ – $50.00
