State Police Investigating Burglary in Washington Township

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are seeking information on a burglary that occurred Saturday night in Washington Township.

According to police, sometime between 9:30 p.m. on August 29 and 2:00 a.m. on August 30, a burglary occurred at a 34-year-old Brockway woman’s residence on State Route 219 in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

Police say unknown individual(s) stole a black portable fingerprint ID safe valued at $90.00 and $100.00 in cash and broke the glass window in a door, causing $20.00 in damage.
