State Police Locate Missing 10-year-old Boy


BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities have located a missing 10-year-old Brookville boy.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, the boy was playing outside of his home along Route 36 around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday when he got into a disagreement with his brother and ran away.

The boy was last seen near the Armory on Hastings Street around 8:15 p.m.

Volunteer fire companies from Brookville, Pine Creek and Summerville, as well as Brookville Borough Police and State Police searched for the boy.

Around 10:58 p.m. on Wednesday, State Police Tpr. Meko and Brookville Police Officer Justin Miller found the boy.

He was returned home safely to his family.
