HOWE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police have released additional details about a crash that injured two people in Howe Township on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by 34-year-old Charles O. Snodgrass, of New Castle, was traveling north on State Route 66, just south of Watson Farm Road in Howe Township, Forest County.
Police say Snodgrass failed to notice traffic stopped for a car turning right onto Watson Farm Road and traveled off the right side of the roadway and rolled his vehicle.
According to police, two passengers – 33-year-old Cassandra F. Bowser, of New Castle, and a juvenile passenger – suffered suspected minor injuries.
Snodgrass and Bowser were not wearing seatbelts.
Three juvenile passengers were wearing seatbelts, and one other juvenile passenger was buckled into a child safety seat.
Snodgrass was charged with a traffic violation.
On Saturday evening, initial emergency radio broadcast transmissions indicated that the accident involved four patients, two of which were reportedly ejected.
Two medical helicopters were dispatched around 6:40 p.m.
Marienville-based State Police, Marienville Volunteer Fire Department, and Shippenville Ambulance were among the agencies dispatched to the scene.
