State Police Respond to Incident of Animal Cruelty in Barnett Township

BARNETT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police responded to a residence on Route 36 in Barnett Township, Jefferson County, for an incident of animal cruelty.

Around 12:30 p.m. on May 20, PSP Marienville was dispatched to a call that an individual had shot a dog on his property at 11070 State Route 36 in Barnett Township.

It was learned that the dog was killing the individual’s ducks that he raises, according to police.
