State Police Searching for Driver Who Fled Scene After Crashing into Utility Pole

WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating an incident where a vehicle struck a utility pole in Jefferson County and then fled the scene.

According to police, around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, a single vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 322 near Church Street in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the vehicle was traveling westbound on U.S. 322 when, for unknown reasons, it exited the roadway and struck a utility pole with its passenger side front end. The vehicle then fled the scene traveling west on U.S. 322.

The vehicle is believed to be a Chevrolet Lumina manufactured between 1995-2000. It is believed to have moderate damage to the passenger side front end.
