Summerville Man Escapes Injury in Crash on Route 28

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 28, approximately 1/4 mile south of Dewey Road, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 2:30 p.m. on January 26, 55-year-old Edward M. King, of Summerville, was traveling south on SR 28, and his 2005 Chevrolet Impala traveled off the west side of the roadway.

The car then went over an embankment and struck a tree, according to police.

King was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
