Susan D. Caine

Susan D. Caine, 69, DuBois, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at her home.

Born April 11, 1952, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Blanche (Hoover) Taylor.

In 1972, she married Gary D. Caine. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2010.

In 1970, Susan graduated from the DuBois Area High School.

She was a homemaker in her home. Susan was a member of the Peacemakers Quilting Group and enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching old Western shows, and spending time with family. She was a member of the Gelnett Memorial Church, but most recently attended Home Camp Methodist Church.

Susan is survived by four children, Dan (Jennifer) Caine, DuBois; Dianna Caine, DuBois; Brian Caine and his fiancé, Nakita Cook, Pittsburgh; and Craig (Rachel) Caine, DuBois; two grandchildren, Addison and Callie Caine; three siblings, Melissa (Ronald) Troupe, Brockport, Gerald (Janet) Taylor, Hazen, and Joyce Taylor, Hawthorn, NJ, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Bogle and Audrey Luttman.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, May 18th from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 19th from 10-11 a.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Immediately following Wednesday’s visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. from the funeral chapel with Rev. Richard Howe officiating. As recommended by the new CDC guidelines, all unvaccinated individuals are asked to wear face coverings. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 1312 Chestnut Ave., DuBois, PA, 15801 to help offset funeral expenses.
