Teen Arrested for Underage DUI and Other Charges

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 11:34 p.m. on May 22, an underage DUI arrest was made on State Route 36, Allegheny Boulevard, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, it alleged that a 17-year-old juvenile male was speeding on Allegheny Boulevard at an average speed of 53 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, and upon stopping him, found him to be DUI.

He consented to a blood test, and the results showed his BAC to be 0.259%, police say.

Following the completion of the investigation, police are filing a juvenile petition against the teen charging him with DUI, driving above maximum speed limits, driving after hours on a junior operator’s license, minor prohibited from operating with any alcohol in system, careless driving, and underage drinking, according to police.

Charges will be filed with the Jefferson County Juvenile Probation and Parole Department.
