SIGEL, Pa. (EYT) – Community Action, Inc. announced Terri Carion of Sigel was selected to be the Jefferson County Senior Corps-RSVP Volunteer of the Month for December.
Terri has been a member of the Senior Corps-RSVP since October 2013 volunteering for the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging’s Ombudsman Program.
When asked why she volunteers, Terri stated, “I enjoy meeting new people and really like being able to spend time with and talk to the residents at Laurelbrooke Landing. I really enjoy my visits there.”
When Terri is not volunteering, she enjoys her dogs, Sadie and Fonzi, participating in various activities at the Heritage House and spending time with family and friends.
