COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion Community Theater’s production of “The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle” will premier Friday, June 4, at the Sawmill Theatre.

Performances will be held at 8:00 p.m. on June 4, 5, and 6 and June 11, 12, and 13.
The play follows the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society as they make a spectacle of themselves and their harassed producer with another of their productions. The ladies have overlooked the fact that a) they are all women; b) they are mostly too old for the parts they play and c) they can’t act.
None of this fazes them in the slightest of course, and they are blissfully unaware of their shortcomings.
Vigorous sound effects enhance their spine chilling mystery production, a tale of murder and mayhem that is guaranteed to bring down the house or at least a substantial part of the set.
