Theodore C. “Lefty” Gardner age 73 of Irishtown Road Kersey, PA; died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his residence.
Born on February 10, 1948 in St. Marys, PA; he was the son of the late Ward and Patricia Murphy Gardner.
Retired, Lefty had been employed at the Beaver Meadow Creamery.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Horton Sportsmen’s Club.
Lefty enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and throwing darts.
He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing scratch off lottery tickets and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Dawn (Doug) Major of Port Allegany, PA; Denise (David) Logan of Reynoldsville; 2 sons: David (Lisa) Gardner of Kersey, PA; Daniel (Susie) Gardner of DuBois, 7 grandchildren: Nicole Terwilliger, Derek Terwilliger, Kristen Terwilliger, David Logan, Alexandria Gardner, Kayla Gardner, Dana Gardner and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a grandson DJ Gardner.
Calling hours will be on Friday, August 20 from 5PM to 8PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 11AM with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway.
