NEWBURG BOROUGH, Clearfield Co., Pa. (EYT) – State Police say someone accessed an area woman’s debit card and stole over $3,000 from her bank account.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, between January 6 and March 5, an unknown individual allegedly used a known 58-year-old Mahaffey woman’s debit card to make 31 separate withdrawals from an ATM located at the La Jose Hotel in La Jose, Pa.
The transactions totaled $3,260.00.
The investigation is ongoing.
