Thomas E. Kline, Age 89 of Reynolds Ave., DuBois, PA , formerly of Somerset, PA, died Monday, May 01, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born on March 13, 1928 in Bigler, PA, he was the son of the late Ai & Ruth (Barnett) Kline. On October 23, 1954 in State College, PA, he married Kathryn A. (Archer) Kline. She preceded him in death 2008.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII.
In 1980, he retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Pennsylvania State Trooper after 27 years of service.
Tom attended St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, and was a member of the American Legion in Somerset, & the Fraternal Order of Police. Tom was an avid golfer and was a member of Scottish Heights Golf Club, Brockport.
He is survived by 3 brothers (Clifford Kline of York, PA; Emery Kline of DuBois, PA; & William Kline of Phillipsburg, PA) and 2 sisters (Hilda Shively of DuBois, PA, & Idabelle Kirkwood of Jersey Shore, PA)
In addition to his parents & Wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman, Ernest and Emerson Kline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 11:30 AM from the Baronick Funeral Home, & Crematorium, Inc with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
