Traffic Stop in Washington Township Results in Drug Arrest

State PoliceWASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 11:35 a.m. on May 11, a traffic stop resulted in a drug arrest on Interstate 80 westbound, at mile marker 94.8, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 29-year-old Nicholas E. Minor, of Raleigh, NC, was stopped for summary traffic violations.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Minor was allegedly in possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and US currency.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Inzana in District Court 54-3-02.

He was remanded to Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
