Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Arrest of Falls Creek Man in Washington Township

handcuff-300x225WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a DUI arrest was made early this morning on Sandstone Drive, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 1:36 a.m. on January 16, a 49-year-old Falls Creek man was stopped for several summary traffic violations.

During the contact and while speaking with him, a strong odor of alcohol was evident on his breath, police say.

He was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary charges pending blood results.

The name of the suspect was not released.
