This is a can’t miss show for any modified fan as four classes of modifieds will be on the card along with the first ever appearance of the newly formed Allegheny Sprint Tour.

The big block modifieds who have been a staple at Tri-City Raceway will highlight the card Sunday making their only appearance of the season. Joining them will be the RUSH crate modifieds that have been growing in numbers. The e-mods and the vintage modifieds will also be on the card making four divisions of modified competition.

Rounding out the card will be the new Allegheny Sprint Tour featuring the Race Saver 305 sprint cars who are making their first of three visits to the Venango county oval. After losing their first two races to rain last weekend the new series will hope to get their first event in the books Friday at Dog Hollow Speedway before heading to Tri-City.

The action is slated to get underway at 6 p.m. on Sunday with gates opening at 4 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, the event does carry a rain date of Sunday, May 21. You can get more info on Tri-City at the track’s website located on the web at www.tricityracewaypark.com
