Two Escape Injuries in Bell Township Rollover Crash

state_policeBELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on State Route 36, east of Burnside McGee Highway, in Bell Township, Clearfield County.

State Police say around 1:09 p.m. on January 18, Christine A. Stormer, 41, of Punxsutawney, was traveling north on SR 36 when she lost control of her 2000 Chevrolet Silverado.

The pickup traveled into the southbound lane and struck the guiderail on the western side of the roadway, then rolled over onto its passenger side before coming to a rest facing west.

Stormer suffered minor injuries.

Her passenger, Michael J. Sharp, 39, of Punxsutawney, was not injured.

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.

Stormer was charged with a traffic violation.
