Two Injured in Snyder Township Crash

Police car lightsSNYDER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – (EYT) – State Police in DuBois report two people were injured in a June 23 crash at the intersection of State Route 219 and Rattlesnake Road in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the crash occurred as a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan operated by Carolyn A. Puhala, 66, of Brockport, was traveling westbound along Rattlesnake Road and stopped at the intersection with State Route 219.

Puhala’s Grand Caravan began to pull onto State Route 219 to turn left and travel southbound when her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side front fender by a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt traveling northbound along State Route 219 operated by Howard V. Dippold, 88, of Saint Marys.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and both sustained minor injuries.

Puhala was cited with a traffic violation.
