Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 28

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225WARSAW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say around 7:55 p.m. on November 3, a two vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of Cemetery Road, in Warswaw Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a 1999 Ford Taurus was traveling southbound negotiating a left-hand curve on S.R. 28 when a 2013 Suburu Forester attempted to reverse out of a private driveway onto S.R. 28 and failed to yield the right-of-way.

The Taurus was unable to come to a complete stop and struck the rear right side of the Forester, then continued down the right side before coming to a rest.

No injuries were sustained by either driver, and neither vehicle required towing from the scene.

The driver of the Suburu Forester was cited.

Police did not release the names of either driver.
