Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 36, Harmony Township

police-car-woods HARMONY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say a two-vehicle crash occurred along Route 36, in Harmony Township, Forest County.

According to police, around 1:25 p.m. on October 5, William H. Miner, 64, of Erie, was traveling north on Dory Carson Road and was attempting to turn left onto Route 36. Miner’s 2015 Dodge Journey was stopped with a portion of the vehicle protruding into the intersection.

Police say Jeffrey S. Franklin, 38, of Frenchville, Pa., was traveling south of Route 36. The right side trailer tire of Franklin’s 1998 Kenworth impacted the front portion of Miner’s vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts; no injuries were reported.

Miner was charged with a traffic violation through District Court 37-4-93.
