ROSE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 10:52 a.m. on March 21, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 36, at its intersection with Sheep Farm Road, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, 26-year-old William N. Kelso, of Hermitage, and 43-year-old Bradley A. Wright, of Brookville, were involved in the collision.
Police say a 2007 Isuzu NPR, driven by Kelso, and a 2012 Ford F-250, driven by Wright, were traveling south on SR 36. The Ford was making a left turn onto Woodland Drive, and at the same time, the Isuzu was attempting to pass it.
The right front corner of the Isuzu impacted the left front corner of the Ford causing the Isuzu to skid into a residential lawn and the Isuzu to go into a ditch along the east side of the road.
Kelso suffered minor injuries to his head. Jefferson County EMS transported him to Brookville Hospital.
He was not using a seat belt.
Wright and a passenger, 50-year-old Matthew J. Belinda, of Philipsburg, were both using seat belts and were not injured.
Kelso was charged with a traffic violation.
