UPDATE: Eight Face Drug Charges Following Jefferson County Drug Bust

mugsBROCKWAY., Pa. (EYT) – Eight Jefferson County residents are facing felony charges following a drug roundup by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force.

Last week Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett announced the arrest of the individuals shown above for drug-trafficking-related offenses based upon covert investigations performed by members of the JCDTF (Jefferson County Drug Task Force).

These particular investigations focused on the illegal sale of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription narcotics in the Brockway area.

The following people were all charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance and related offenses and were arrested on July 13, 2016*:

Gregory Alan Grieneisen, 52, of Brockway, Pa.
Justin Paul Craft, 28, of Brockway, Pa.
Ryan E. Moore, 19, of Brockway, Pa.
Christopher L. Caggiano, 24, of Brockport, Pa.
Jonathan E. Cantafio, 32, of Brockway, Pa.
Autumn Olivia Foltz, 21, of Brockway, Pa.
David Michael Berouty, 48, of DuBois, Pa.
James Justin Buchanan, 35, of DuBois, Pa.

In a press release issued by D.A. Burkett on July 14, he stated, “Drug investigations take a long time, a lot of work and meticulous planning that is not done in the public eye. I thank the Brockway community for their patience while we have done this important work. I am thankful for the hard work that was done in this investigation by our Drug Task Force officers and especially that of my County Detective, Guy Felmlee, who oversees all of the operations of the JCDTF.”

“We will continue to pursue those who traffic death and destruction in the form of addictive drugs.*”

Burkett also noted that more arrests would be forthcoming in the following weeks.

Burkett thanked all of the agencies that participated in the roundup, including the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Adult Probation Department, Jefferson County Control, Brockway EMS and the Brockway, Brookville and Reynoldsville Borough Police Departments.

Charges Filed Against Gregory Alan Grieneisen

According to court documents, criminal charges for three cases were filed against Grieneisen in Gregory M. Bazylak’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (three counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (three counts)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3 (three counts)

Grieneisen was released from Jefferson County Jail on July 14 via a $30,000.00 Surety Bond for each case posted by Liberty Bail Bonds.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 8 with Judge Inzana presiding.

Charges Filed Against Justin Paul Craft

Court documents indicate criminal charges for two cases were filed against Craft in Judge Inzana’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (two counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (two counts)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3 (two counts)

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail set for each case, he was committed to Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 18 in front of Judge Inzana.

Charges Filed Against Ryan E. Moore

Court documents indicate criminal charges for three cases were filed against Moore in Judge Inzana’s office.

She was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (four counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Possession Of Marijuana, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (two counts)

Unable to post bail $25,000.00 monetary bail set for each case, she was lodged in Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on August 18 in front of Judge Inzana.

Charges Filed Against Christopher L. Caggiano

According to court documents, criminal charges for three cases were filed against Caggiano in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (three counts)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3 (three counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (three counts)

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail set for each case, he was lodged in Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on August 18 with Judge Inzana presiding.

Charges Filed Against Jonathan E. Cantafio

According to court documents, criminal charges were filed against Cantafio in Judge Inzana’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3

Cantafio is free on $50,000.00 (10%) monetary bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on August 18 in front of Judge Inzana.

Charges Filed Against Autumn Olivia Foltz

Court documents state that criminal charges for two cases were filed against Foltz in Judge Inzana’s office.

She was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (two counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (two counts)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3

Unable to post bail ($50,000.00 monetary for one and $25,000.00 monetary for the other), she was committed to the Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is set for 2:15 p.m. on August 30 with Judge Inzana presiding.

Charges Filed Against David Michael Berouty

According to court documents, criminal charges for three cases were filed against Berouty in Judge Inzana’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (three counts)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3 (three counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (three counts)

Unable to post bail $50,000.00 monetary bail set for each case, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on August 18 with Judge Inzana presiding.

Charges Filed Against James Justin Buchanan

Court documents indicate criminal charges were filed against Buchanan in Judge Inzana’s office.

He was arraigned on July 13 on the following charge:

Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony

Buchanan was released from the Jefferson County Jail on a $25,000.00 Surety Bond posted by Liberty Bail Bonds.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on August 18 in front of Judge Inzana.

*Pursuant to the Rules of Professional Conduct, it is noted that a charge is a mere accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
