Man Accused in Reynoldsville Drug Death Due in Court Soon


REYNOLDSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A 65-year-old Philadelphia man accused in a drug overdose death earlier this year in Reynoldsville is scheduled to appear in Jefferson County District Court soon.

Edward Roy Minner was arrested in May following an investigation by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force. His preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 19 but has been rescheduled three times. It will now be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 2, in District Judge David Inzana’s office in Reynoldsville.

According to county District Attorney Jeff Burkett, Minner was charged with delivering crystal methamphetamine to a known adult female.

Minner’s charges include:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor

He remains lodged in the Jefferson County Jail after failing to post $125,000 bail.
