GLEN CAMPBELL BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 5:15 a.m. on December 19, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 286 East, 361 feet west of Schrader Avenue, in Glen Campbell Borough, Indiana County.
Police say 40-year-old Michele L. Keith, of Glen Campbell, was traveling west on SR 286, near First Avenue, in Glen Campbell Borough. She encountered ice on the roadway and her 2003 Chevrolet Tracker subsequently traveled across the eastbound lane of travel, struck a guide rail, and then struck a tree.
Keith was subsequently transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for treatment of injuries of unknown severity.
She was using a seat belt.
Glen Campbell Volunteer Fire Department, Indiana County EMS, and Smith’s Towing assisted at the scene.
