Walter Price Nicely Sr., age 60, of Punxsutawney, PA, formerly of Emerickville, PA, passed away in his home on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Walter was born on March 3, 1957, to Joe William Nicely and Lena May Bradley in Clifton Forge, VA.
Walter was a man of many skills and hobbies, his work included “a little bit of everything”.
This included painting homes and condos in different areas throughout the United States.
He also had a passion for cars, he enjoyed working on them as well as talking extensively about them.
His dream was to own a Candy Apple Red 1957 Chevy.
He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Louva May (Connor) Nicely; 2 daughters; Malena (Kelvin Gilligan) Nicely, Rachel (Mark Hofstetter) Nicely, 1 son; Walter “Price” Nicely II, 3 grandsons; Blaine, Landon, Kelvin Jr., and 3 granddaughters; Shelby, Kenzie, Joslyn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA 15825.
There will be no public services.
