Water Run Plans ‘Get to Know Us’ Sessions

villasCLARION, Pa. – With construction of the new Highland Oaks at Water Run in Clarion nearing completion, WRC Senior Services is turning its attention to construction of up to 30 residential villas for older adults also planned for the site.

WRC will be hosting multiple “Get to Know Us” sessions in the Clarion and Franklin area in February and March for individuals who are interested in learning more about the planned Villas at Water Run.

“These will be casual events where individuals will be able to listen to a short presentation about the project and then ask questions,” said Director Cortney Ortz.

Refreshments will be provided, and each attendee will receive a free gift.

Four sessions are scheduled at the Park Inn by Radisson at 45 Holiday Inn Road in Clarion on February 11 at 2 p.m., February 25 at 10 a.m., March 10 at 2 p.m., and March 24 at 10 a.m.

Two sessions are scheduled at the Quality Inn at 1411 Liberty Street in Franklin on February 10 at 2 p.m. and March 9 at 10 a.m.

Space is limited, and individuals are asked to register for the Get to Know Us event they would like to attend by calling Ortz at 814-849-4131 or emailing cortz@wrc.org.

Construction first began at the site in Clarion, now named Water Run Landing, in March 2015.

It is WRC’s newest campus. WRC Senior Services started in Brookville in 1890 and has been providing care and services for older adults in the tri-county area now for 125 years.

Water Run Landing is located on Water Run Road, just off Route 68 in Clarion near Computer Support.
Upon completion, it will include two neighborhoods – Highland Oaks at Water Run, a personal care home to accommodate 60 residents, and The Villas at Water Run, residential homes designed with active, older adults in mind.
The Villas have four different floor plans to choose from, which vary in square footage and are customizable with add-on options including a sun room, fireplaces, deck and walk-out basement.

Residents will pay an entrance fee to live at The Villas, which is partially refundable upon re-occupancy.
Multiple amenities and services will also be offered, including priority access to Highland Oaks at Water Run should their healthcare needs change.

For more information, plan to attend a “Get to Know Us” session or call Ortz at 814-849-4131.
