WEATHER ALERT: Flood Watch Remains in Effect for Jefferson County

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following Flood Watch update at 4:56 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015:

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA AND WEST CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL MOVE THROUGH THIS MORNING…AND TAPER OFF
LATE THIS AFTERNOON. THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

* 1.5 TO 2.00 INCHES IS EXPECTED… WHICH MAY LEAD TO URBAN AND
SMALL STREAM FLOODING.
