William “Don” Meloni, 86 of Fox Manor, Kersey died on December 12, 2020, at Penn Highlands Dubois.
He was born on July 2, 1934, in Force, son of Mario and Ruby (Taylor) Meloni.
He was married to Margaret “Peggy” (Renaud-Nissen) Meloni who preceded him in death in 2009.
Don is survived by three children, Margaret Speedy (Bill) of Collinsville VA., Otto “Buddy” Nissen and his companion Dale Fox of Ridgway, and Christine Higgins (Matt) of Kersey. Also survived by a brother, Robert Meloni of Kersey, five grandchildren including Keri Gregory (Scott) of St. Marys and Eric Sidelinger (Jess) of Benezette, Jennifer, Afton and Ben Speedy of VA. and 7 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Porco, Leola Meraglia, and brothers Ralph, Victor, and Leroy Meloni.
Don worked most of his life at PMP in St. Marys and FSM (GKN) in Fox Twp., where he retired in 1996.
There will be no visitation. Final arrangements will be made at the convenience of the family.
