William Gordan Blake II, 66, Falls Creek, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
Born May 9, 1949, in Clearfield, he was the son of the late William Gordan I, and Madaline (Eadie) Blake.
He was married to Rose M. (Christian) Blake. She survives in Falls Creek.
He had worked highway construction for Glenn O. Hawbaker.
He loved growing roses and collecting Civil War and Titanic Memorabilia and watching cats.
He was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles and a life member of the Clearfield Firemens.
William is also survived by a daughter: Mrs. David (Donna Marie) Ireland of Philipsburg; and two step-children, Mrs. George “Jeff” (Melinda “Mindi”) Leiberton of Reynoldsville and Eric Cativera and wife, Jen, of Brockport; one sister, Suzanne Reid of Clearfield; and nine grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 -4 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. David Nagele officiating.
