William T. Hartman, Jr.

William T. Hartman, Jr., age 68 of DuBois, PA, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at his home.

Born on July 23, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late William T. and Helen J. (Zimmerman) Hartman, Sr.

On October 8, 1977, he married his wife of 44 years, Susan J. (Corrigan) Hartman. She survives.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Bill had an extensive career in the Silicon Valley Computer Industry. He had always been active in the Boy Scouts of America. Bill obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and later served as an Assistant Scout Master for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and had vast knowledge of various subjects, especially history, and enjoyed discussing with all.

Bill is survived by 3 children (Rebecca Hartman & her husband Rick Cox; Matthew Hartman & his wife Cindy; and Amanda Hartman) and was “Papa” to his granddaughter Madison Hartman.

Bill is also survived by his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews and many, many beloved and cherished extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert.

There will be no public visitation.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 12 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by going to www.facebook.com/baronickfuneralhome.

Full military honors will be accorded from the funeral home by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
