Wilson H. Rankin

Wilson H. Rankin, age 90 of DuBois, PA, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at his home.

Born on January 18, 1931, in Kittanning, PA, he was the son of the late Ira Wilson Rankin and Vernon Wilamina (Wagoner) Rankin.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II in the European Theatre.

Wilson worked in the casino industry and was a pit boss for many years in Nevada and New Jersey.

He was a member of both the Brookville and Sykesville Eagles where he was a charter member and Post 204 Brookville Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by 4 sons; (Wilson Douglas Rankin and Thomas L. Rankin both of New Castle, PA, Barry Rankin of Cleveland, OH and Andrew Rankin of Sparks, NV), 4 daughters; (Crystal White of Mercer, PA, Paula Hutchins of Harmony, PA, Sotira Frawley of Sparks, NV and Ashley Godfrey of GA), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and 1 brother, Howard L. Rankin of DuBois, PA.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter (Ruth Ann Byllick), 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Due to our current circumstances, there will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 720 c/o American Legion Post 511, 196 Skyline Drive, Dagus Mines, PA 15831.
