Woman Busted Growing Marijuana in Rose Township Residence

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Brookville woman was busted growing marijuana at a residence in Rose Township.

Court documents indicate the Punxsutawney-based State Police filed criminal charges against 24-year-old Rebecca Marlene Aaron.

According to a criminal complaint, on July 14, Punxsutawney-based State Police received a call from a known individual who reported that Rebecca Marlene Aaron was growing marijuana plants on the second floor of her residence in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police then consulted with the Jefferson County District Attorney and got approval for a warrant for a search of the residence. The search was then executed on July 16.

The search yielded the discovery of four marijuana plants and associated paraphernalia, the complaint states.

The following charges were filed against Aaron through Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office on August 13:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on September 20 with Judge Bazylak presiding.
