Woman Injured in One-Car Crash in Bloom Township

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say around 2:45 p.m. on December 9, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 4006, on Greenville Pike in Bloom Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, Sally A Doksa, 61, of Reynoldsville, Pa. was traveling north on SR-4006 in a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt when she veered off the roadway and onto the east shoulder, making contact with loose gravel.

Doksa’s vehicle continued in a northbound direction and then crossed over into the oncoming lane.

While attempting to steer back into her lane, police say she over-corrected, causing the vehicle to spin 180 degrees in a clockwise rotation, striking a mailbox and then an embankment.

Doksa was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries, but did not require EMS transport.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
