Woman Injured in Rollover Crash in Pine Creek Township

PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a woman was injured in a rollover crash that occurred on Interstate 80 in Pine Creek Township on Sunday.

According to police, around 1:58 p.m. on August 30, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 westbound near the 83.4 mile marker in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 27-year-old Shannen D. Bravo Brown, of North Lauderdale, Florida, was operating a 2010 Honda Civic, traveling west in the right lane, when she lost control of the vehicle, traveled across both lanes, and overturned.

The vehicle then struck an embankment at the median just south of the roadway, traveled a short distance across the berm, and came to a final rest on its roof facing south.

Bravo Brown suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Penn Highlands Brookville by Jefferson County EMS.

She was using a seat belt.

Bravo Brown was cited for a traffic violation.
